Neuroscience and Art Life Coach
You know the pattern.
You just can't seem
to change it.
I help people break the patterns keeping them stuck — through a blend of neuroscience and creative process that bypasses logic and works directly with the subconscious. No artistic ability required.
- Real shifts — not just awareness
- Works where thinking alone can't reach
- No artistic background needed
What’s really going on
You're not stuck because you haven't tried enough.
You’ve journaled. You’ve tried the strategies. You’ve talked about it — to a therapist, a coach, a friend, yourself.
And something shifts for a day. Then the tension comes back. The racing thoughts return. The tiredness that sleep doesn’t fix.
That’s not a willpower problem. It’s a pattern problem.
Patterns don’t live in your schedule or your to-do list. They live underneath — in the subconscious beliefs your nervous system has been running for years. And they don’t respond to logic or understanding. They need to be reached differently.
That’s the work we do here.
The Method
A process that reaches the pattern — not just describes it.
Most inner work stays in the head. You talk about the problem. You understand it. You can explain it. But understanding it hasn’t changed it.
What I use is different. It’s a neuroscience-based drawing method that bypasses the analytical mind and works directly with your subconscious — with your states and emotions, not your thoughts.
One participant described it as journaling, but on a completely different level. Instead of using words, you’re using what you actually feel.
You don’t need to be artistic. You don’t need to believe it will work. You just need to show up and draw.
What people report: clarity that wasn’t there before, patterns they can finally see, and real changes in their lives that started from the inside out.
Reach the pattern underneath, not just the symptoms
The drawing process surfaces what words often can’t.
Work directly with your subconscious — not just your thoughts
Bypasses the analytical mind entirely.
Real shifts: in how you think, feel, and move through the world
Not temporary relief. Internal change that holds.
Is this for you?
This is
for you if:
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to recognise yourself in this.
- —You’ve been working on yourself — and something still won’t shift
- —You know what the pattern is. You just can’t seem to change it
- —You’ve tried strategies that help for a day, and then the old feeling comes back
- —Stress, or a lack of energy, or a sense of being stuck has become your normal
- —You want something that goes deeper than awareness or talking about it
- —You’re skeptical — and open enough to try something different
- —No artistic background. No experience. Just willing to show up.
About Ana
I'm Ana Jomir.
Neuroscience and Art Life Coach.
I’ve been working in this field for over four years — as a coach, a teacher, and someone who has done the work myself.
Before this, I spent nine years in marketing at director level — managing teams, running campaigns, building systems. I’m good at seeing how things connect and what’s actually driving what.
But the real reason I do this work is personal. I was carrying a level of stress that was affecting my health, my energy, how I showed up in every part of my life. Through this process, that changed.

Stress went from constant background noise to practically non-existent. Real changes in their own lives — not in months. Sometimes in weeks. Sometimes after one session.
None of it requires artistic ability. It requires showing up.
What people say after the work
Real people. Real shifts.
I didn’t have any plan. I was very perplexed, very lost. The week after I drew, I received news I’d been accepted into my master’s degree — after they’d already told me to cancel my application. Now I’m in Paris with a very clear roadmap.
Yolanda
Many, many things in my life have changed. The one thing that changed the most is money. I’m earning about eight times more. I’m enjoying my life. I’m traveling a lot.
Maria
At the beginning I was skeptical — like, it’s just a game. But then the magic happens. My confidence increased. My money increased. I found the right doctor for a health problem I’d had for years.
Raluca
It’s not a magic tool. Some of the challenges might actually get worse. But it’s definitely powerful. I’m an overthinker — this takes me from monkey mind to: let me just feel. It really changed my life.

The Philosophy
Everything I do starts in the same place.
Before we can change what we do, we have to change what’s running underneath it. That’s not a motivational statement — it’s how the nervous system works.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t — you’re right.”
— Henry Ford
The mindset is where it begins
This isn’t just about confidence. It’s about what your brain allows to be possible.
If your belief system says a thing isn’t available to you, you won’t see the opportunities that prove otherwise. You won’t take the steps. You’ll interpret every setback as confirmation that you were right to doubt.
The mindset isn’t a nice addition to the work. It’s the ground everything else grows from. And you can’t plant anything in ground that’s still in survival mode.
First: the nervous system has to settle
You can't think your way out when you're in fight-or-flight.
When you’re stressed — truly stressed, not just busy — your brain is running a very specific programme. It’s called the fight-or-flight response, and its one job is to get you through the threat.
The problem is that in that state, your prefrontal cortex — the part responsible for clear decision-making, creativity, and long-term thinking — goes offline. You can’t make good decisions from that place. You can’t see new possibilities. You can’t receive what you’re trying to attract, build, or create. Your whole system is pointed at one thing: surviving right now.
This is why so many people work hard on mindset tools and still feel stuck. The mental work isn’t landing because the nervous system hasn’t had a chance to settle. You’re trying to plant seeds in soil that’s still on fire.
Before anything else — before the affirmations, the goal-setting, the visualisation — the body needs to know it’s safe.
That’s where we start.
When you're stressed, you cannot:
- Make clear, grounded decisions
- See opportunities you haven't seen before
- Think creatively about what's possible
- Absorb new beliefs or patterns
- Manifest or attract what you want
- Work at your full capacity
The nervous system comes first. Everything else follows.
Then: the belief work
Once the nervous system calms, something opens up.
There’s space again. Space to actually look at the beliefs you didn’t choose — the ones handed to you long before you had any say in the matter.
Limiting beliefs aren’t character flaws. They’re old conclusions that made sense at some point. “I’m not good with money.” “People like me don’t get to have that.” “I have to work twice as hard just to stay even.” These weren’t invented — they were learned. And they keep running in the background, shaping what you go after, what you allow yourself to want, and what you decide you deserve.
This is where I spend a lot of my time with clients: not just naming the belief, but going to where it lives. Working with it at the level where it was formed — not arguing with it intellectually, but actually loosening its grip.
From there, we can build. Money. Relationships. A different sense of who you are and what you’re capable of. The outcomes change because the internal blueprint changes.
The sequence that makes everything else possible
01
Release the stress
Calm the nervous system so the thinking brain can come back online. This is where all real change begins.
02
Work the belief
Examine, loosen, and replace the old conclusions that aren’t yours to keep. Not by arguing with them — by working with them where they live.
03
Build from there
Set the goals. Take the steps. Money, relationships, identity — create results that match who you actually are now, not who you were taught to be.
The methods I bring into the work
The tools
I draw from several methodologies — chosen because they work at the level where real patterns live, not just at the surface. Each one reaches something a little different. Together, they cover the ground.
Neurographica®
A neuroscience-based drawing method developed by psychologist Pavel Piskarev. It works directly with the nervous system through the structured act of drawing — not as art therapy, but as a process that creates new neural connections and shifts how the brain processes stuck patterns.
You don’t need to be an artist. The method works through the movement itself.
I am a certified Neurographica coach.
Aesthetic Coaching
A visual, body-aware approach to coaching that uses image, symbol, and spatial perception to access what words often can’t reach. Aesthetic Coaching works with the whole person — not just the reasoning mind — and is particularly effective for people who feel stuck despite knowing exactly what they “should” do.
I am a certified Aesthetic Coach.
BogoBan
[Ana — please add 2–3 sentences describing what BogoBan is and what it’s particularly useful for in your sessions. I’ll match the tone and format it to fit.]
The Shell of Beliefs
An interactive game-based tool for exploring the belief systems that shape behaviour. The Shell of Beliefs creates a structured, often playful space to surface what you actually believe — going beneath the edited, conscious version of your story to the assumptions that are quietly running the show.
Metaphorical Cards
Image-based card tools that use metaphor and visual association to bypass the analytical mind. When someone knows something feels wrong but can’t quite name it, the cards give the feeling a form. They’re particularly useful at the start of a session or when a conversation has reached its logical ceiling.
And more
Depending on what you’re working on and where you are in the process, I also draw from NLP, somatic approaches, timeline work, and other coaching frameworks that fit the moment and the person.
No two people arrive at the same place the same way. The method follows you — not the other way around.

The Philosophy
Change starts on the inside.
You can have the right strategy. The right opportunity. The right plan sitting in front of you. But if your nervous system is overwhelmed and something inside you doesn’t believe it’s possible, it’s very difficult to create a different result.
That’s why the work we do at ExpansionInk usually comes back to two things:
First, we calm the stress response.
Then, we work on the beliefs and internal patterns underneath the way you think, choose and act.
From there, we can work on almost anything. Money. Career. Business. Relationships. Health. Confidence. The life you actually want to create. But we start with the foundation.
Your state changes what you’re capable of.
When you’re constantly stressed, everything looks different. You think differently. You react differently. You make decisions differently.
Your body is focused on dealing with a perceived threat, not helping you think creatively about what your life could look like three years from now.
And sometimes stress doesn’t even feel like stress anymore. You’ve been operating that way for so long that it just feels normal.
You keep working. You keep solving problems. You keep pushing yourself to do more.
But you’re trying to build something new while your system is focused on getting through what’s happening right now.
That’s why stress work appears so often inside my programs.
Before we ask, What do I want to create? Sometimes we need to ask:
Can I get myself into a state where I can actually see what’s possible?
Calm first. Then create.
This doesn’t mean you need a completely stress-free life before you can change anything. That’s not realistic.
It means learning how to recognize when stress is running the show and having ways to work with it.
When that internal noise starts to settle, you have more room. More room to think. More room to notice your patterns. More room to make a different decision instead of automatically repeating the old one.
And that’s when we can start looking at the next layer.
What do you actually believe is possible for you?
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.”
— Henry Ford
Because your beliefs matter.
I come back to this idea a lot. Not because thinking positively magically gives you whatever you want. It doesn’t.
But what you believe changes how you behave.
If somewhere inside you believe you’re not capable of building a successful business, what decisions are you going to make?
If you believe money is difficult to make, what opportunities will you notice?
If you don’t believe you’re the kind of person who can have the relationship, career or life you want, what happens when an opportunity actually appears?
We don’t make decisions in isolation. We make them through everything we already believe about ourselves and the world around us.
That’s why changing the strategy isn’t always enough. Sometimes we need to change the person using the strategy.
This is where we work with limiting beliefs.
A limiting belief isn’t always something obvious like: “I’m not good enough.”
Sometimes it’s much quieter.
- “People like me don’t make that kind of money.”
- “I need to work really hard to deserve success.”
- “It’s too late for me to start again.”
- “I can’t trust myself to make the right decision.”
- “If I become more successful, something else in my life will suffer.”
You may consciously disagree with the belief. And still behave as if it’s true. That’s what makes this work interesting.
We’re not only looking at what you say you believe. We’re looking at the patterns underneath what you repeatedly do.
Stress and beliefs are the foundation.
This is why you’ll see these two themes again and again across ExpansionInk.
Stress release. And working with limiting beliefs, identity and the subconscious mind.
Once we start changing those foundations, we can take the work anywhere.
We can look at your relationship with money. Your business. Your career. Your health. Your relationships. Your confidence. Your sense of purpose. The goals you’ve been putting off. The version of yourself you’re trying to become. The subject changes. The underlying work often doesn’t.
We work on identity, not just outcomes.
Take money as an example. When we work on it here, it’s not just about the number. We’re looking at questions like:
Who are you when you think about money?
What do you believe you have to do to earn it?
What do you believe you deserve?
What are you allowed to spend it on?
What does having more of it mean about you?
What does it mean about you if you don’t?
What did you learn about money from the people who raised you?
Because we’re no longer only working on getting more money. We’re working with the person who is creating, receiving, managing and making decisions about that money.
The same applies to business. Career. Relationships. Health. Almost every external goal eventually brings us back to the person pursuing it.
You don’t need another personality.
This work isn’t about deciding that the current version of you isn’t good enough.
It’s about becoming aware of what you’re carrying. Some beliefs helped you at one point. Some were learned from family. Some came from culture. Some came from experiences you had years ago. And some simply belong to a version of you that doesn’t fit your life anymore.
We can look at those patterns without judging them. Then we can decide what still belongs. And what doesn’t.
How we do the work
There isn’t one tool I use for every person or every problem.
I’m trained in several visual and coaching methods, and I bring different tools into the work depending on what we’re working on.
Some help us access things that are difficult to reach through conversation alone. Some help us see beliefs more clearly. Some help us work with goals, choices and identity. And sometimes the most useful thing is simply seeing a situation from an angle you haven’t considered before.
Here are some of the methods and tools you may experience inside ExpansionInk.
Method
Neurographica
Neurographica is one of the main visual methods I use and the method that started my own work.
It’s a structured drawing process that uses specific algorithms, lines and shapes to help us work with internal states, patterns and the subconscious mind.
And no, you don’t need to know how to draw. This isn’t an art class. We’re using drawing as a way of working.
Sometimes it’s much easier to draw what is happening internally than to explain it perfectly with words. That was one of the things that fascinated me when I first experienced the method myself. I could stop trying to think my way to the answer and work with the situation differently.
Certified Neurographica Instructor and Supervisor — trained in Russian, directly from the source of the method.
Method
Aesthetic Coaching
Aesthetic Coaching uses visual thinking and creative processes as part of coaching.
Sometimes we know something intellectually, but knowing it hasn’t changed how we feel or behave.
Visual work gives us another way into the conversation. Instead of only asking you to explain the problem, we can give it form. We can look at relationships between things. We can notice what stands out. We can change something visually and observe what happens internally.
It can bring forward insights that weren’t obvious when we were trying to find the ‘right’ answer logically.
Tool
BoGoban
BoGoban is another coaching tool I use when we need to look at a situation more strategically.
It helps us explore choices, positions, relationships and possible moves.
I particularly like tools like this because life rarely happens in isolation. One decision affects another. One area of life affects the rest.
Sometimes what looks like a problem with one obvious solution changes completely when you can see the wider picture. BoGoban gives us a structured way to do that.
Tool
The Shell of Beliefs
The Shell of Beliefs game helps us look at the beliefs surrounding a particular subject or goal.
Because the first belief you notice isn’t always the one driving the pattern. There can be layers.
- What do I believe about this?
- Where did that belief come from?
- What is underneath it?
- What am I protecting?
- What would become possible if I didn’t need that belief anymore?
This is especially useful when you consciously want something but keep finding yourself moving in the opposite direction. Instead of forcing yourself to ‘think positively,’ we get curious about what’s actually there.
Tool
Metaphorical Cards
Metaphorical cards use imagery and association to help us access thoughts, emotions and perspectives that aren’t always immediately available through direct questions.
There isn’t a correct interpretation of a card. That’s the point. You look at an image and notice what you see.
- What catches your attention?
- What does it remind you of?
- What feels uncomfortable?
- What feels familiar?
The card becomes a starting point for seeing something you may not have been able to put into words yet.
And more
And other coaching tools
I don’t believe every problem needs to be forced through the same method. So I continue studying, experimenting and adding tools to my practice.
Depending on the program and what we’re working on, I may combine visual coaching, neuroscience-based approaches, subconscious work, reflective exercises and other coaching techniques.
The tool isn’t the goal. The internal shift is the goal.
I care about finding the way into the problem that helps you actually move something.
You don’t have to believe in any of this before you start.
I didn’t. I’m naturally analytical. I studied mechanical engineering. I spent years working with systems, marketing and measurable results.
When I first started drawing, I didn’t completely understand what I was doing. I did it anyway. Then I watched what happened. That’s still how I prefer people to approach this work.
You don’t have to convince yourself that something will work. You don’t need blind belief.
Be curious. Question it. Experience it. See what you notice. And then decide for yourself.
The philosophy is actually quite simple.
We’re not trying to force a different life on top of the same internal foundation. We work on the foundation first.
And from there, we see what’s possible.
Start with the area of your life that’s asking for your attention.
